For years BioIQ have been working towards viable alternatives to extractive, chemical agriculture. We have developed and refined a sustainable approach to soil and plant management, which we call the Bactivate Soil Program.
BioIQ Soil Program
BioIQ is committed to improving profitability for farmers and operates to meet the challenge of "changing the farming economy".
Food production is critical to meet population growth and farmers must be supported in every way to meet demand for quality produce.
Farming needs to be more profitable, more sustainable and less stressful, and we are producing programs and inputs to help achieve these goals.
Our goal is to improve soil health, plant health, human health and, more recently, this mission has been extended to include planetary health (in relation to global warming).
The topsoil that grows our food is fast diminishing, and there is an urgent need for soil restoration initiatives. Bactivate ran a trial with Mitta Valley Landcare over 5 years proving that we can re-establish and increase topsoil using the Bactivate Soil Program.
Landcare reported that: -
"All treated soils showed a significant increase to the depth of topsoil. With one application of the Bactivate Program an average of 15mm of topsoil was added to the soil and with three applications over 55mm of topsoil. In all cases the soil was more friable and had better root structures (density and length).
BioIQ is driven to improve the quality of the food that sustains us, to reduce the high costs of using synthetic fertilisers, and importantly to restore soil health.
BioIQ customer, Australian Organic Fruit have learnt the value of the Bactivate Soil Program - how to produce better quality and higher yield organic produce, with up to 50% less synthetic fertiliser inputs - saving money each harvest and over time.
And the Bactivate range is NASAA certified organic.
Product Strategy
Our product strategy involves a focus on innovative inputs to ensure farming success. Bactivate has developed a broad range of problem-solvers, including the Bactivate Live Bacteria's 3 and 5.
BioIQ was born out of an ambition to reduce the use of synthetic chemical fertilisers and improve soil health, migrating farmers and agribusinesses to programs more sustainable and safer to use.
Robert Rushford and Mike Tyrrell offer a new plant nutrition solution that provides regenerative and all natural solutions for farmers, land managers [and homeowners] to improve the health of the planet through scientific innovation.
BioIQ is made for Farmers and Land Managers … A leader in fertiliser and soil conditioner technology.
